This week the girls travel to Ireland for their stories in lieu of St. Patrick's day. A mixture of stories from folklore to hauntings and an extra special treat, the lovely Becky O'Quinn joins us. Of course in the spirits of the leprechauns we got extra fun and drunk.
This week the girls are revisiting some childhood memories at the circus. We're not clowning around when we say this episode is an emotional rollercoaster, so get your tissues ready, and step right up to the drunk girls circus!
Fasten your seat belts for this one Ladies and Gents! If you’re a frequent listener of The Drunk Files, you know sometimes (rarely) we touch on conspiracy theories, but this time each one of us told our own conspiracy theory story, and believe us, you don’t want to miss this one. Not only did we all go in completely different directions but we also got more drunk than usual! Can you guess some of the theories we talk about by the title of the episode?
In this week’s episode, The Drunk Girls go to space! Another broad topic for our third episode in season 2, and we went to all different ends of the galaxy. As Buzz Lightyear once famously said, “To infinity, and beyond!” Or, at least to the moon and back.
This week the girls are chatting about folklore that inspired murders. This creepy topic is broad enough that it took all the drunk girls in different directions and you’ll get to experience completely different realms of folklore (And murder) if you’re sensitive to our normal crime episodes, you don’t have to worry, our focus is equal parts folklore and murder. We’re refreshing our views in season two!
P.S. Do you get our pun?.. it's like cocktail, but folktale.
We're back with a new, rebranded season. Starting things off in the new spooky season, we chose an especially spooky topic; Poltergeists. You'll hear fun facts, history and some crazy, scary stories, oh and some jokes thrown in for good measure.
Although Ellen has never had a ouija board in her apartment, we were pretty sure we summoned the ouija board demon this week. Oh, that's our topic by the way, for the last episode of 2018. Can you believe we're saying that?! The last episode of 2018! But back to the topic; ouija boards, we learned a lot this week and all our plans are ruined and we're terrified. But it's nothing a little sage won't fix! (We hope)
This week, the drunk girls have yet another special guest, our dear friend, Eduardo! We also had him choose the topic of the week, Urban Legends! It ended up being out longest episode ever! We’re bringing awareness to Black Eyed Children (if you don’t know, you especially should listen) and bringing in the classic, Bloody Mary. Plus, Jaimee has a creepy pasta to share that’ll spook and confuse you! Have a good listen!
Can you see into the future?? If not, let us tell you about this week's topic; psychic predictions. This being one of our all time unexplained, unsolved mysteries ever we decided to dive deep and explore stories of skeptics and believers. Once you dive down a rabbit hole it's hard not to get caught up, so we've got little bit of fraud and a little bit of magic this week. You're going to like this one, I saw it in my crystal ball.
The girls left Halifax and went to The Rock this week to celebrate Maria's homeland and the sweetest place in Canada.(We wish we went in real life, but we only really went in our stories.) Our topic was Newfoundland and we had a variety show, hitting paranormal, true crime and extraterrestrials!
Happy halloween to all you witches and ghouls. The drunk girls have some tricks up their sleeves this week in a special out of order, Halloween themed episode here to spook and entertain you. Will you be able to listen alone without shutting the blinds? We dare you to try.
Our latest episode followed by our earliest, morning mimosas & creepy stories to start the day out right. This week we're talking about mysterious phone calls . If you're like us you probably don't answer your phone unless it's your mom but if you want to hear about people who took the risk and regretted it, this is your chance!
IT’S MAN’S WEEKEND. The girls finally go on a much needed weekend getaway where they eat a ton of meat, wear plaid and made a really impressive fire (ha). This is part 1 of 3 recorded in said weekend and we’re talking about Haunted Objects, and NOT the taxidermy wolf on the wall of the cottage. Be prepared to be spooked by inanimate objects and to tell Post Malone to F*** off. Enjoy!
Its not only pirates in search of lost treasure. This week the drunk girls are searching for it too and we brought Candace (Arch expert extraordinaire and our lovely pal) along for the ride. Are you curious about a sterile stud with 104 wives?? Or maybe you’re wondering about the “curse of the how she goin” ? we’ve got answers for you in this one.
It’s alien abduction week! This is part-two of our two-episode recording night, so we have Becky for a few minutes but then we’re back to just the three of us! We spoke of some really crazy abductions that’ll make you wonder...and lead us back to the episode 1 question, do aliens where silver overalls?
SPECIAL GUEST ALERT This week we have the lovely pleasure of welcoming miss Rebecca O’Quinn into our recording studio (ahem, Ellen’s loft) We let her choose the topic and she didn’t disappoint us with the inevitably cringe-worthy topic of Cults. Now while we got the extra pleasure of having Becky over to play, we do warn, this episode is NOT for the faint of heart. Be prepared to hear some super fucked-up things.
Annnnd we're back with our first fan pick week! This is just proof that If you request , we will deliver! Airen requested haunted universities and we've got some hella cool stories to tell. We've got the insight on some of the spookiest schools in the world! Get ready to be scared to death
Ever dream about robbing a bank, but you just don't have it in you? The drunk girls are telling stories of heists this week (and not just in banks). It's the perfect episode to live vicariously through the successful criminals and laugh at the unsuccessful ones. Oh, and it'll soften your cold black hearts a little too (how? You'll see!)
Are you afraid of the unknown? Do you believe in Big Foot and Nessie and think to yourself, what other unknown creatures exist? This week the Drunk Girls are going to tell you about some of those other unknown creatures, cause we talkin' about MoNstErs.
The girls are back from a long 2 week break, with some extra spooky stories about exorcisms.
You can expect to hear about some pretty unbelievable exorcisms and as always, a few drunk girls mispronouncing words.
